Describe your business in a few words.

Our senior moving company is a new service in Canada. As a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers we have experience and contacts to help move elders with ease. Our senior relocation services are tailored to each client.

After an initial, complementary home visit, a needs assessment is completed, and a proposal prepared for your review. We detail all services requested, and suggest others that may be of assistance to you. Our experience in the industry allows us to provide you with expert references to movers in your area, and we are always happy to provide references outside of our own work area through our association with the NASMM, or National Association of Senior Move Managers.

Downsizing first, is a key component of a successful move with several strategies available. Our goal is to make the moving process as smooth of a transition as possible. The end result is for yourself, or, your loved ones, to be settled into their new home, ready to enjoy the next chapter of their life.

Our vision is to provide you or your loved one a seamless move. Let us take you from overwhelmed to settled, with integrity, kindness and great communication.

What inspired you to start your business?

Move Coordinators realized the need for assistance with the moving process, after 29 years of work in the Self-Storage business in Edmonton, Alberta. Moving is overwhelming, and so many people require assistance in making this transition less stressful. Seniors, especially, can find the moving process very daunting. We want to make a difference in a time of transition

One interesting or fun fact about you or your business.

Karen was well known in her home town as a wedding singer!

Biggest lesson you’ve learned since starting your business.

The clock doesn't stop at 5pm. Since our business is such a new concept in Canada, we are constantly talking, living and breathing senior move management.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Getting outdoors! Camping, walking, snowshoeing in the winter. And every other spare minute is indulging our passion for Classic Rock and attending every concert possible.

Favorite thing about coworking:

Love the hip, relaxed atmosphere! 

How would you describe coworking to somebody?

All the perks of a "bricks and mortar" office, without the headaches and overhead! I know my company is viewed as more professional and reliable because of our business address vs "run out of a spare bedroom".
